Solaire is the application I am building as my capstone project for the Master of Science on Computer Science. It is my opportunity to combine all teh skills I learned while building the other applications on my project so far. 

The initial version is deployed just so I can confirm my setup is working. The application is being built following the Agile methodology and is powered by a GitLab pipeline and repository. 

The feature branches are setup to automerge into the main branch after successful test, and deployed to Vercel. 

Recently I have run out of build minutes due to the fast iterations and development cycles.

The final version will be available online at the same link after graduation.

Capstone Project

I created a mapping application to represent various activities on a Map, for instance the activities of a non-profit organization. I used Next.JS, Mapbox and ShadCN UI to put the application together.

 Final version is deployed on the Vercel platform

I built an encrypted messaging system based on Next.JS and Tailwind CSS. I made sure the app supports client-side encryption by swapping out NodeJS crypto and using the OpenPGP instead. Another attempt was made to use Web Crypto, but the API was too convoluted

2 years after deploying my first portfolio website to the world, I decided it was time to upgrade my personal site to a tech stack that matches my current skills as well as industry best practices. I have chosen Next.JS as it is now the best way to use React.JS. I have chosen the GraphCMS platform as it greatly simplifies using GraphQL to fetch data between my frontend and their platform. I have chosen to integrate SendGrid email and Calendly to my Contact page. This was a big learning experience for me. The website is currently a work in progress and I am able to make a few changes a week as I create new blog posts and publish new portfolio projects as part of my personal or internship work

A frontend Admin dashboard currently under construction for a Solar energy startup. I am displaying generic data and focused on making sure the styling works properly. Will eventually integrate with a GraphQL backend that supports authentication, queries and mutations for data fetching from a remote database. Development on the Admin page has been paused to give way to a new Apollo GraphQL server. This new backend will support GraphQL subscriptions which will enable powerful functionalities in the frontend such as notifications, messaging, event scheduling, project management and tracking, etc.
