My first attempt at blog project was based on a tutorial about the Django framework. I launched to blog as part of my website project which was initially hosted on Heroku, but was taken down due to changes on the Heroku platform. I was able to transfer the blog to the Railway platform for a while, but recently that site is also down for reasons only God and Railway know. As of April 3rd, 2023, the Django blog is live on Fly.dev platform. The PostgreSQL data store is provided by the free tier on Render.io. The Render documentation was not as helpful and their error messages are cryptic. I used the Fly CLI and its error messages are meant for humans, which helped me fix errors one by one until the deployment worked. I spent as much time on both platforms
